Our Story

Lavendel Dame lavender farm is located in the heart of Missouri wine country near the historic town of Hermann.   The Lavendel Dame name embraces Hermann’s German heritage in its name which means “Lavender Lady”.  Our farm, located on an idyllic 90 acres at the site of a 110+ year old farmhouse, was founded in the summer of 2022 with approximately 500 plants of five varieties — Phenomenal(tm), Sensational(tm), Folgate, Royal Velvet, and Hidecote.  We plan to add additional plants in the coming years and are excited to share our growth with you!

Lavendel Dame will begin selling a variety of handcrafted and carefully sourced products to the public in the summer of 2023 both online and through local markets.  Our farm is also home to 6 beehives adjacent to the lavender — we plan to sell true lavender blossom honey!  Small scale boutique style ‘harvest-your-own’ events will be available to the public in the summer of 2024.

Our farm is very much a small family farm with immediate family members and a dear neighbor helping plant and care for the plants. Please sign up for our newsletter and check out our blog to learn more about us and our journey. We love lavender and can’t wait to share it with you!
